Learning Technology Specialist  Program Description

The certificate is 15 credit program designed to prepare teachers and practitioners to become effective planners, designers, developers, evaluators, and leaders in the use of technology for teaching and learning. It is specifically designed to meet the standards and indicators of the NETS (National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers), MTTS (Maryland Technology Teacher Standards) and MTSSA (Maryland Technology Standards for School Administrators). The program includes four core courses, and one elective from four options.
